Configuring S-Drive on Custom Objects
S-Drive comes out-of-the-box ready to configure for Accounts, Contacts, Cases, Opportunities, and Leads. If you want to use S-Drive on other objects, you’ll need to:
We then recommend creating a “before delete” trigger on parent object to prevent deleting objects that have S-Drive file on them.
Once your file object is created, you can configure an S-Drive Lightning component to display your files or create an override page in Classic.
When creating a custom file object, do not give it the same API name as the objects in the S-Drive Managed package (AccountFile, ContactFile, CaseFile, OpportunityFile, Lead_File). This will cause errors until the API name is changed.
